SREE VALIYALUKKAL BHAGAVATHY TEMPLE
Sree Valiyalukkal Bhagavathy temple is a Hindu temple located in Kanimangalam in the Thrissur district of Kerala. The supreme deity of this temple is goddess Bhagavathy and she is worshipped in her vana durga (forest god)form.
It is believed that the temple originated before centuries. The temple is unique from the other Hindu temples and the idol of the supreme deity is placed in an open area exposed to natural elements such as rain and sunlight.
The temple also has the presence of other sub-shrines such as Bhadrakali and Manikandan and it brings more spirituality to this place.
The temple offers a wide range of poojas which includes Maha Ganapathy homam, Udayasthama pooja, Navakam, Thrikala pooja, etc and the temple has its own unique rituals and festivals which include the offering of Kalamezhuthu Pattu and Niramaala.
